There had been workshops, seminars and research activities regarding the problems of the tribal sections in Tripura; but specifically the emerging problems of the marginalized section among the marginalized Tripura tribes need to be exposed. Till now, so such academic activity as per available information has been organized in this region. From this perspective the organization of this seminar seems to be highly significant from the perspective of Tripura in particular and India in general. The objective of the seminar is to highlight issues related to problems of the marginalized tribal people and to find out the probable way-out of their critical socio-economic, political and cultural situation.

CALL FOR PAPERS AND SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT
The Organizing Committee of the Seminar invites original research and academic papers from the participants. Abstract of the paper (approx. 300 words) in MS Word or Pagemaker Format may be submitted to the email address gdckseminar@gmail.com within December 12, 2011. The selected participants will be informed by email.
REGISTRATION
Participants may do registration on the first day of the seminar after reaching the venue as per the following rate:
1)     For Faculty Members and other Employees: INR 300/
2)     For Research Scholars: INR 200/
3)     No Fee for PG Students
The participants are required to submit their Full Papers both in Hard & Soft copies at the time of registration.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation (Food and Lodging) will be provided to the outstation participants with no extra cost.
TRAVEL GUIDE
The nearby Railway station is Ambassa (37 kms) and one can travel via Lumding (a well-known place in Railway Network) by Agartala Express which starts at 20.55 hrs daily. It reaches around 10.30 hrs on the following day and participants may be received from Ambassa Railway station subject to the information about their itinerary. The college is 125 kms away from the state capital Agartala which is well connected by air. All the major domestic Airline operators viz. Indian Airlines, Jet Lite/Connect, Indigo, Paramount, Kingfisher, Spice Jet ply their Airbus/Boeing flights from New Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore/Chennai, Guwahati, Imphal etc. in regular intervals. In fact the air ticket to Agartala is one of the cheapest in the country. From Agartala one can reach Kamalpur by bus as well as by train (Ambassa). One can also catch bus from ISBT Guwahati as well as Shillong and Ambassa is an overnight journey only.
